Wonderful Green Retreat
helpful staff room swap polite staff ample parking
I appreciated the helpful staff. They noticed my partner has walking difficulties. They swapped our rooms to be near the foyer. The staff was very polite, and nothing was too much trouble. The parking was ample with decent-sized spaces, and it offered great views over the racecourse.
The light above the mirror wasn't working. This was a small issue.

Acceptable Stay with Issues
dated room limited selection
The location provided nice views of horses training and London lights at night.
The room was quite dated resembling a basic budget hotel room. Breakfast selection was limited I wanted a different type of egg I do not eat scrambled eggs but the staff member was rude and unaccommodating so I felt frustrated. The price seemed high for the experience.

wonderful trip near the racecourse
early access good food
check-in was quick! i received early access to my standard room hot room. this was great after my long journey. a pub nearby served good food.
the breakfast selection was not great! the scrambled eggs were not to my taste. i wanted a different type of egg, but the staff member said no.

parking is available and it is opposite the race course. the buffet breakfast includes hot items and has a good selection of food. it offered convenient services and well kept spaces.

small double neighbouring noise
the staff WERE efficient and friendly, and nothing was an effort.
the room WAS small and basic. the bed WAS a very small double and not very comfortable. lots OF noise came from neighbouring rooms and disrupted my rest.
