The location proved convenient for exploring the area. It was an easy walk to the bus station, which helped a lot! The rooftop bar offered amazing views and a relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast each morning had a wide array of high-quality options. I really appreciated the variety.

The room overlooked the marina. I appreciated the great view from the room. The gym was great and I used the roof level for sunning (that was a lovely space). Staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

I did not think this was a four-star hotel. The cups provided were paper (really odd in a four-star hotel).

the breakfast included a very good selection. eggs were prepared as requested and delivered to the table, a nice touch. the rooftop terrace offered fabulous views. i found the wine at the bar reasonably priced for a hotel.

the hotel is near a busy road, in a somewhat scruffy area. i would not venture out late at night due to the location. i had to ask reception for tea and coffee most days, sometimes delivered to the room and sometimes left at reception without notification.

Solid stay with handy location

spacious breakfast room steamer iron beautiful view

The breakfast room was spacious and included many choices. I especially appreciated the egg menu. It felt quite luxurious. The modern steamer iron in the room was also a welcome addition. The terrace with views of the port was a plus.

The rooftop area, while nice, has a small, purely symbolic swimming pool. The shower near it felt icy. I had to wait, wet, to use the lift back to my room.

Decent Hotel, Some Issues

dirty window inadequate isolation

I encountered a couple of problems . The window in my room was notably dirty. This affected the view. the noise isolation was inadequate (I could hear street noise despite the closed windows), , made sleeping difficult. This was disappointing for the price paid.
