lovely brampton stay!

friendly welcome clean room great food
I was so happy with the friendly welcome we received. the room was very clean. The shower was the best shower i experienced during my holiday. i loved the great food with options for everyone, including gluten-free and vegan choices, a detail i really appreciated.
the room was too hot, only offering fans and this didn't really cool it. a better cooling system would have been welcome

lovely food friendly pub great stay staff noise slammed door lack consideration
the food was lovely for both evening meals and breakfast I had. the pub felt clean cute and friendly. it was a great stay with plenty to do and see nearby.
the noise from staff above my room was very noticeable I could hear every footstep and every door slammed shut. people were chatting at 4 am and it was very noisy. i felt there was no consideration for people trying to sleep.

Mixed experience due to noise and slow service.

slow dinner service late breakfast
The room was clean and tidy.
Dinner service was unreasonably slow. My main course arrived after an 85-minute wait. I had to ask for the gravy and vegetables, which then came five minutes later. Breakfast was also a disaster. It started late, and cooked food took 30 minutes. This meant I only had time for a few bites of my bacon roll before my taxi arrived.

an acceptable stay

helpful staff fresh milk overdone steak small amount
the staff was helpful, and the food tasted good. the room had fresh milk, which i appreciated. the sausages at breakfast were particularly tasty, i have to say.
My steak was slightly overdone. the fries also came in a small amount. i expected more vegetables at that price. It was not a good value.

friendly staff clean room really good food street noise building work no compensation
The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean (it was a good start!). The food in the restaurant was really good, and breakfast was excellent too.
My room faced the street. It was noisy due to street traffic. Substantial building work was underway (I wish I had known). I didn't receive any compensation for this disturbance.
