A balanced hotel stay
tasty breakfast pool excellence friendly staff thorough minibar beach amenities broken lamps
The breakfast was tasty, with many options available. The pool was excellent. The staff provided friendly service upon check-in.
The minibar checks were quite thorough. I wish there had been more amenities on the public beach to enhance my experience. The beach fence lamps did NOT work during the night.

great variety modern room
i really liked the breakfast. it had great variety and quality for 12 rials per person? i also found the rooms well equipped. they were modern and clean
the hotel granted access to the public beach. but i hoped for more amenities there. the beach fence lamps were not functional at night

underwhelming stay despite some positives
slow check-in overcrowded pool
the check-in process was quite slow. i arrived and was told my room wasn't ready (this was after the official check-in time). there was no offer of a complimentary drink or an estimated time. also, the pool area was overcrowded and i struggled to find available sun loungers. it reminded me of the hotel might oversell memberships, leaving little space for regular guests (i found this quite frustrating).

relaxing beachfront retreat
attentive staff excellent breakfast public beach
i found the staff very attentive and helpful. breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices. the swimming pool area offered ample space for relaxation. the public beach access was very convenient for a stroll along the shore.
The gym was quite busy during peak hours. Access to equipment was sometimes restricted.

The front desk team was efficient during check-in. the housekeeping staff maintained a high standard of cleanliness. i received prompt assistance with luggage storage. It made my departure smoother, too. concierge services were also available for local tour arrangements.

the hotel has a large, clean swimming pool. i saw a well-equipped gym with treadmills and weights. there are multiple restaurants and bars on-site for dining and drinks. large parking is available with cars.

al ghazal pub provided polite service. i noticed the food at trader vic's was great. the breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of international and local dishes. musandam restaurant also provided a nice dining atmosphere.

The room included soft linens and a comfortable king bed. a well-appointed desk was available for work. the bathroom featured ample amenities and several bottles of water. I really enjoyed the big balcony, too.
