The breakfast was tasty, with many options available. The pool was excellent. The staff provided friendly service upon check-in.

The minibar checks were quite thorough. I wish there had been more amenities on the public beach to enhance my experience. The beach fence lamps did NOT work during the night.

underwhelming stay despite some positives

slow check-inovercrowded pool

the check-in process was quite slow. i arrived and was told my room wasn't ready (this was after the official check-in time). there was no offer of a complimentary drink or an estimated time. also, the pool area was overcrowded and i struggled to find available sun loungers. it reminded me of the hotel might oversell memberships, leaving little space for regular guests (i found this quite frustrating).

i found the staff very attentive and helpful. breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices. the swimming pool area offered ample space for relaxation. the public beach access was very convenient for a stroll along the shore.

The gym was quite busy during peak hours. Access to equipment was sometimes restricted.

The front desk team was efficient during check-in. the housekeeping staff maintained a high standard of cleanliness. i received prompt assistance with luggage storage. It made my departure smoother, too. concierge services were also available for local tour arrangements.

al ghazal pub provided polite service. i noticed the food at trader vic's was great. the breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of international and local dishes. musandam restaurant also provided a nice dining atmosphere.
