Acceptable Stay with Service Issues
slow service indifferent staff
The lagoon with direct pool access was alright.
The service was slow. It sometimes took ages to get a drink. The staff gave off an air of indifference. This made me wonder if they needed extra training or something.

Wonderful Lagoon Access Stay
lagoon access quality breakfast
I was pleased with the lagoon access from my room! It made swimming very convenient. The lagoon was open 24/7. This was a main advantage over other hotels. I could swim anytime. I also liked the high-quality breakfast products. Everything tasted delicious.
The air conditioning unit in the room made too much noise. I highlighted this when I left a night early but no one addressed it. I did expect some follow-up. This sound was really disappointing.

Every staff member seemed attentive. They were also very accommodating. Staff took great care of us in our room. Staff at breakfast and at the Mekong Restaurant provided excellent attention to our needs.

The breakfast buffet at Crescendo was really heavenly. The restaurants offered diverse and delicious options. I found high-quality products were used at breakfast. That's a plus. Everything available tasted great.

The location provided convenient access to local attractions. I enjoyed the historical surroundings. The area felt full of history. The resort's architecture. numerous palm trees, gave a Thailand vibe.

great stay, great staff
gala dinner beautiful decoration access to bars
the new year's eve gala dinner was amazing, it was the best one i have attended. the table had beautiful decorations, i could see the stage, and had easy access to bars (this. watching the fireworks from the beach was a special event. the staff kindly gave us rooms next to each other as requested.
bottled water is chargeable in every restaurant and by the pool.

breakfasts were delicious in crescendo and i prebooked a table outside at lunchtime because they fill fast. i thought bushman's cooked perfect steaks (the best steaks!). the whole dessert station was a real gingerbread house.

our two rooms were on the first floor lagoon rooms. the hotel kindly gave us rooms next door as requested (i was grateful). bottled water is free and provided in the bedrooms.

the hotel has direct beach access. the location allowed for excellent sunset views on the beach. the pools are plentiful and the beach was clean and well staffed by polite people.

the new year's eve gala dinner in crescendo was amazing, the best nye gala i have attended. there were also live fire shows on the beach that were lovely. i loved the lunches in the beach house.
