We received a lovely welcome platter with bubbles, as we were celebrating our mini moon. the staff were very friendly and helpful. A gentleman greeted us at the door. he then helped us with our suitcases, and check in was smooth.

the upstairs area was too small, though it replaced the downstairs lobby. seating was limited, and no food or beverages were available. i received complementary late checkout as a member of ihg, but it was not available when i confirmed i wanted it.

the location is ideal for walking around.

the pool was closed, and i was not informed until check-in. this was disappointing because i specifically chose this hotel for the pool. they offered access to other pools nearby, but they were too far to walk with kids and swim gear. the bar staff seemed put off by my children and our minimal drink order!
