The superior king room i had was fantastic!!! it was a lovely, large room with a huge, fantastic bathroom and a superb kitchen too, all very clean. the staff were very friendly and helpful. i enjoyed the breakfast at byfords, excellent. I got a voucher! the location is also a bonus, very convenient.
I found that the outside furniture showed wear. It needed some repair. this is minor, though, and did not detract from my overall stay.

the superior king room includes a well-equipped kitchen. a roll-top bath features in the bathroom. a dyson fan, rituals toiletries, bottled water, and chocolates are extra amenities provided in the room.

Amazing Stay!

The breakfast at Byfords across the road was excellent!!! Room 1 was huge with a large bathroom and also a kitchen area. The staff were friendly and helpful. Tom was very attentive to all requests.
I found the outside furniture worn, so some repairs and TLC are needed. The menu was expensive, as were the drinks. I sat outside, but this detracted from the evening.

The room I had was much larger than I expected. The room facilities were excellent and very useful. The bed was very comfortable and allowed me to rest. I also received a voucher to Byfords, where I enjoyed good food for breakfast.
The welcome was not that great. It reminded me of a rough pub with rooms. I didn't eat at the pub as I didn't like the atmosphere. There were shouting locals, and it was not what I wanted where I was staying

Decent Room, Questionable Dining.

The staff was mostly fine. I cannot complain.
The pork belly starter? Inedible. Grey and undercooked. My medium rump steak arrived well done, sitting on cold, soggy chips. A frozen garlic butter disk topped it off. The chef must have been phoning it in. My partner's meal was equally awful. The dirty hand towel wasn't even replaced. It was just folded back and put back on the shelf. Disappointing experience, really.
