Underwhelming Stay. Some Issues
faulty television inconsistent shower
The breakfast tasted freshly cooked.
The shower temperature changed rapidly between scalding hot and freezing cold. I also found that the television did not work properly. I struggled with the remote. The room was supposedly the most used room. I suspect this caused some wear and tear.

super clean room coffee biscuits wifi issue shower temperature
the room was super clean. there was plenty of tea coffee and biscuits available in the room.
the wifi didn't work at all. the shower temperature alternated between burning hot and freezing cold

perfectly formed!
amazing welcome comfortable bed super clean room
i had such an amazing welcome and nothing was like too much trouble. i stayed in the single room and found it furnished to a very high standard. the bed was comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. i really enjoyed the little extras like a glass of scotch left each day to wind down with at night.
the single room wasn't particularly big, but it had everything i needed.

the location allows for easy access to the nearby ferry terminal, beneficial for travellers planning trips to ireland. also, there is convenient free parking available directly across from the hotel who have cars.

my room came with extra amenities like a complimentary bottle of water and a small jug of whisky plus beautiful cut glass crystal glasses. also, blackout curtains were installed that provided excellent light control that helped ensure restful nights.

elaine looked after me so well, and i felt very welcome. the breakfast was delicious and prepared with care. elaine was very helpful in making dinner reservations for me.

excellent twin twin room super clean clean high standard wifi issue shower temperature most used high traffic room
the twin room was excellent, it was spotlessly clean. elaine greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our room. the twin room was lovely and decorated to a very high standard.
the wifi didn't work, i had to contact someone about that. the shower burned me, then froze. i was put in the most used room by the owner's admission.

wee dram welcome surprise delicious breakfast helpful host malfunctioning tv faulty remote mirror light
i received a complimentary wee dram in my room, which i thought was a lovely touch. the breakfast was great. elaine actually called me beforehand to give me instructions for a late check in, it was very helpful.
the tv in the room didn't work properly. the remote wasn't fully functional either. also, a light on the mirror wasn't working (it was a bit annoying).
