quiet getaway
excellent foodfrench doorswell kept garden
i enjoyed the excellent food and the friendly service during dinner and breakfast. the room featured double height ceilings and french doors leading to a well kept garden. i also appreciated the nice views from the room.
the extractor fan made the floor vibrate slightly.

Excellent Stay in a Serene Location

Breakfast included several choices. Beds were really comfy. The staff showed how friendly they were. The garden was well kept (I took a short walk every morning).
Hallway doors made some noise. I placed a towel in the door frame. It stopped the door from banging shut.

The lodge sits close to the water. Gardens extend to the moorland. A loch has otters. Rabbits appear around the hotel in the morning.

The breakfast included a good variety of choices. Hot options were cooked perfectly. Staff provided superb welcome. The staff were very warm.
There were banging doors along the hallway. I put a towel in the frame of my door. It stopped it banging when doors along the hallway were closed.

The food here was really something. i particularly appreciated the breakfast choices. A good variety meant i never got bored. the hot options were cooked just right. i was also glad to find a bike shed. It easily housed my touring bike.
I did notice banging doors along the hallway one night. i had to use a towel to keep our door from banging shut when others closed theirs. That seemed to help a bit, though.

The staff operated efficiently. the staff were cute to all guests. the restaurant team was particularly helpful and attentive to all the guests needs. Service was always prompt, i noticed.

the restaurant provided great food whether from the bar menu or the restaurant menu. breakfast had various options. the staff made sure i got the scallops from the restaurant, despite me sitting in the bar.

the extractor fan made the floor vibrate. water did not run continuously making showers difficult. nobody knew where housekeeping kept things when i asked for more shower gel
