Magnificent Stay at La Vista
amazing views relaxing onsen complimentary drinks breakfast buffet
Our LaVista Quad Room Mt Fuji View offered amazing views that was so great. The view from our balcony was lovely. Both the private and public onsen were very relaxing, they offered great amenities! I enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks at the bar, specially the breakfast buffet, this was such a treat.
The air conditioning timer cut out every few hours. This made the room warm at night. I needed more pillows.

The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to and from the train station, very convenient. A spa with massage services is available , great. Guests can find vending machines with ice on multiple floors, super helpful.

disappointing dinner melted ice cream
The included dinner was quite disappointing. The waiter seemed to forget about us when we chose the traditional Japanese menu. It reminded me of proper instructions were not given. The dessert was brought out before the main course, and the ice cream melted.

The location offered a complimentary wine. Snacks were available in the lounge with a nice window view. The breakfast selection was amazing and had a great view.
The check-in process was unfriendly, I needed to read a QR code. No lunch food was available at the hotel upon midday arrival. This was inconvenient.

admirable fuji views and spa
mountain view open-air bath onsen facilities romantic ambiance
the location offered unbeatable views of mt fuji from many areas. the lobby views were magnificent, and the breakfast setting was lovely. i especially enjoyed the open air bath on the patio, it gave a unique sense of relaxation. the onsen facilities contributed to the overall romantic ambiance for couples.
the wine tasting process felt a bit inconvenient, requiring credit card verification. the taste was quite minimal, a bit disappointing. it would be more convenient if the wine tasting was easily accessible without such hurdles.

FANTASTIC stay with lovely service!
spacious room balcony view varied breakfast
I HAD a double room. The room was spacious! The balcony faced mount FUJI (so i could see it easily). Breakfast offered traditional and western options. It was DEFINITELY worth it!

mixed experience with some drawbacks
old interior musty smell
i found some aspects quite frustrating. our room's interior felt rather old and outdated , and there were several large bugs on the balcony , which was unpleasant. the iron balcony also obstructed the view from the bath . the bathroom had a noticeable musty smell.
