Amazing stay! What a gem!

The hall has rooms that are so spacious and immaculately cleaned. I loved it. The bed was large with cotton sheets which was fantastic. I really liked the large flat screen TV and the tea and coffee facilities! The view overlooking the grand gardens was amazing, and I strolled around them.

The room included a spacious bathroom. it had soft cotton sheets and a large flat screen tv. Tea and coffee facilities were available and I took a relaxing stroll. I picked a full English breakfast which i found excellent.
The receptionist seemed rushed and tired, i felt for her. I noticed nothing was available except for poorly cooked pannini. The situation was good, though understood

The staff goes beyond expectations. They made sure i felt comfortable. That was very important. Breakfast lacked beans, but a staff member heated a pot specifically for me, and that was thoughtful.

My room had a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. It reminded me of a travelodge. Breakfast had hot drinks and fruit juices. a variety of items. Free parking was available, convenient, and I also saw some lovely main buildings. The gardens were lovely. I could see them through my large window.
The room was very cold. I adjusted the thermostat as high as it could go. It did not heat up.

The staff were kind. the lady at breakfast walked me to where i needed to go. It's quite a big place. i was very excited to find pod point chargers.
Soundproofing was minimal in the room. It was very loud.

the setting is beautiful and grounds lovely. i was attending a competition nearby and central accommodations had raised prices a lot. this location was a short drive away. the breakfast was fabulous with many options. the room was clean. it was a good value.
navigating the site was difficult. signage from the main road points to house and gardens, but the site is huge with many buildings. none of the buildings are signed as the hotel or house and gardens. it was very difficult finding the correct check-in spot.

difficult check-incold food
I noticed a couple of things i didn't LOVE. The check-in area was a bit hard to find, it wasn't clearly marked. the restaurant was CLOSED when I arrived, disappointing. Instead, I was directed to a servery. It was like a school dinner canteen with cold food priced at £20.00. (it was like highway robbery)
