The welcome was very lovely upon my arrival. i had requested a walk-in shower and i got it. breakfast each morning was delicious and freshly cooked. There was lots to choose from.
the bathroom was quite basic for this kind of hotel, also very small.

the grand entrance made a great first impression! the room had a large comfortable bed, ensuring a restful sleep. breakfast was a highlight, with perfectly runny poached eggs, thick bacon, and tasty black pudding. the service was excellent, contributing to a nice experience.
The bath and shower seemed outdated. I noticed some mould around the bath and dirt on the shower wall.

the staff was friendly and helpful. food in the restaurant tasted freshly cooked.
the bathroom felt outdated, the bath and shower needs a revamp. the shower head was dirty, and water leaked from the pipe. towels smelled musty, like they had been stored in a cupboard for too long.

The staff was friendly enough.
The room was quite hot, even with the heating off and the windows open (not the best combination). I found dust around the roof and what was to be a squished bug on the wall. The bathroom seemed outdated. The shower head was dirty.
