Really good hospitality and service
friendly staff room upgrade great service
The staff were friendly and accommodating. My requests were not only met but exceeded, demonstrating a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. I especially appreciated the room upgrade.
The soundproofing between rooms could be improved slightly.

The location is convenient for accessing the town. The hotel also features a bar area (i enjoyed the atmosphere!) with a good selection of drinks and comfortable seating.

The room was clean and well kept, equipped with amenities such as an iron, hairdryer, and fan. The bed provided good support and I slept very well. The shower and bathroom fixtures were modern and clean.

faulty air con noisy room
The breakfast was fresh and tasty. I found this acceptable.
The room had no proper windows. It was really warm. the air con didn't work well. the room was right under reception, so i didn't sleep well at all. So frustrating.

The location was acceptable. The staff were very courteous.
I find it unacceptable that when complaining to management my concerns were brushed aside. Breakfast supplies were woefully short! Newspapers were offered but not available. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel.

excellent stay
free upgrade garden view secure access great breakfast
i found a free upgrade to a top floor room with a view of the back garden! extra parking was available, located round the back (it had secure access). breakfast was great (especially the sausages!). the tables were arranged so our party could sit together.
the room was very warm, possibly due to a heated mirror in the bathroom.

the staff sorted out the tables, allowing our party of fifteen to sit together. on check out, the staff proved helpful with all our queries. i greatly appreciated the swift and attentive service.

the room included air conditioning, which i needed. it also had sufficient heating for winter. the bathroom was a good size and very clean (i liked the modern style).

there was extra parking round the back in case the front car park was full. the hotel had secure access. the venue was very well prepared with very pleasant staff.

lumpy mattress reply address
The breakfast had plenty of variety available. It was acceptable.
I received an email asking for a review. It was sent to a Do Not Reply address. I am unsure if they wanted feedback. We stayed Saturday, July 19th, and the bed was awful. The mattress was lumpy and old. The parking fee seemed like a rip-off.
