The building and communal areas are genuinely fine. Staff were pleasant.

The heat in our room was a major problem. There was only a small window, it opened slightly. Two fans provided did not cool the room well, it was difficult to sleep. The taps, toilet roll holder, and shower valve were all badly fitted and loose, I expected better.

balcony viewbuilding works

our room was a bit of a letdown , especially since we booked a balcony room. it was advertised with both a bath and a shower , but there was only a shower. also , the balcony was supposed to have a view of the church and gardens , but instead , we mostly saw building works and the side of the church. the noise from the builders started early , around 7:30am , even though we were told they shouldn't start until 8am.

the grounds are beautiful and well kept i found the decor luxurious it created a really pleasant atmosphere i thought the beds were comfortable and the room was clean too

i did not see anyone to greet us on arrival i had to find a staff member myself the room i got was above the thermal rooms it was really hot they moved me to another room but it had not been properly serviced

the beautiful room was spacious and comfortable. the staff excelled, responding quickly to all requests. i particularly enjoyed the well kept pool with the comfortable loungers. the lemon slushy machine at the gym was a refreshing touch after my workout.

I noticed limited tv options. Netflix was unavailable . it would be great to have more streaming options available.

Breakfast included a varied menu. The pastries were tasty and fresh. lunch at the cloisters restaurant was great, and the staff offered excellent service there. there was a minor wait between courses during dinner, but the food was AMAZING!!!

the front door staff were cute, and the service was efficient throughout the hotel. i had to request a beer by the poolside. i received it eventually after the staff member checked to see if it was possible to serve drinks there.
