Tranquil Getaway with Excellent Hospitality
peaceful setting amazing hosts homemade treats
The location provides a peaceful setting overlooking fields. The owners, Clive and Wendy, are amazing hosts and. Breakfast included homemade treats. They were very friendly and looked after us with nothing too much trouble.
The room lacked some updates, with fixtures looking tired. I think improved lighting near the tea and coffee facilities would be beneficial. A more modern coffee machine would be a nice upgrade as well.

tiny bathroom cramped room
the breakfast had good choices from cereals to a full cooked english breakfast.
the room felt cramped , giving me little space to move around , particularly since there were two of us. the bathroom was really tiny , and the shower area was a struggle , especially for someone of a larger build. the stairs to the upper floor were also a pain with a big suitcase.

short walk village location delicious breakfast surprise treats tired fixtures poor lighting updated coffee machine
the village was a short walk away. it had many restaurants, bars and shops. the breakfasts included were plentiful and delicious. i was there celebrating an anniversary and the hosts added a few surprise treats.
the room could use some updating. the fixtures looked a little tired. the lighting was poor. i think extra light near the tea and coffee facilities would help.
