the location is great for exploring local tourist spots. my room was spotlessly clean and spacious. the really good views impressed me. the hosts were cute and accommodating.
i noticed the absence of air conditioning in the rooms. this made the room very hot. opening the windows was not an option for me because of my kids.

the courtyard of cottages was spotlessly clean. it maintained a high standard. there was a quiet, peaceful outdoor space for sitting. plenty of parking was available too.

chantal cooked each guest a delicious, made-to-order breakfast. our twin room included warm bedding. the facilities were lovely and guests could use the dining area at any time. the breakfast choices included homebaked fluffy pancakes and sourdough bread.
the pillows were a little too soft. that's all, we really enjoyed our stay!

The staff was very helpful. Chantelle. she provided many suggestions for local visits. she also made a mean cooked breakfast, and there was lots of choice.

mixed feelings about my stay
limescale builduplow water pressure
the lack of air conditioning was a real issue. i went in july, and the room got uncomfortably hot at night. sleeping with the windows open wasn't really an option because of bugs. the shower head had some serious limescale build up too. water pressure was low, so it was hardly a proper shower.
