The breakfast arrived directly to my room. This was very relaxing. the location was also great. The minster was only a short walk away.

the communal area had plenty of hot drinks available, ACCEPTABLE.
The duvet cover in my room had a STAIN. supposedly, the staff blamed the launderette, but it seemed like something they should have noticed when making the bed. the breakfast also DISAPPOINTED. It was just a bacon butty and eggs were not served.

The location was fairly close to the city center. That aspect worked out fine.
The room was small. the bathroom was particularly bothersome. There were no shelves and also no hooks. these omissions seem especially annoying considering the fairly high price.

the guest house offered a well-organized check-in process.
I found the breakfast to be quite disappointing. it lacked variety. I especially missed having fresh fruit. the constant emails from the hotel before arrival became excessive, especially considering no staff was present upon arrival. the reception area needed better attention.
