I found the hall itself and the surrounding gardens enchanting. The place exhibits vintage charm in tandem with modern convenience. The dinner in the restaurant presented really good experiences in terms of fresh local ingredients and innovative combinations of taste and texture.
I felt the welcome was a little unfriendly during afternoon tea.

The breakfast was acceptable and offered a wide variety of options.
The staff was inexperienced and overly familiar, it bothered me. The bar's addition concentrated staff near the bar. This extends the predinner drinks period to over an hour, it felt too long.
