Mount Hawke Holiday Bungalows, Porthtowan

Mount Hawke Holiday Bungalows is located less than a mile from Porthtowan Beach. The site is positioned at the head of a historic mining valley surrounded by heath and woodland. A public footpath leads directly from the bungalows to cliff and country walks along the North Cornwall Coastal Path.

The accommodation includes 5 large chalets that can sleep up to four guests each. Each chalet consists of a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms, providing ample space for families. There are also 3 smaller chalets that maintain similar amenities in an open-plan layout.

The bungalows are equipped with fully fitted bathrooms that include a bath and shower. Each chalet features essentials such as a television, electric cooker, and refrigerator for convenience. There are also picnic tables outside each bungalow, with barbecues available upon request.

Dogs are welcomed in the bungalows and on the campsite with prior notification. A small charge of £15 per animal per stay assists with housekeeping costs. There is access to a lower field for exercising dogs off the lead, which is not fully enclosed.

Cots and high chairs are available at no extra charge upon request. Families can enjoy private fields and woodland for picnics and outdoor activities. Guest advice on local attractions and entertainment is provided to enhance the family experience.
