Central Stay

excellent locationhelpful staffluggage holding
This was my first time at this hotel. The location is excellent, right next to George Square and Buchanan Street. I found it easy to walk to many attractions. There are countless places for a drink or a meal and many shops nearby (and grocery stores within walking distance!). I was impressed by how helpful Ian at reception was upon arrival and departure. He had a genuinely warm and organized approach. The hotel allowed me to drop off my luggage early and also hold it after checkout. The location is perfect for getting around the city.
The lights from outside shone into the room at night. I found it difficult to sleep because of this, though I only stayed for a couple of nights.

Excellent City Center Apartment Stay

spacious apartmentcomfortable bedfunctional washerblackout shades
I appreciated the large one-bedroom apartment, it was spacious for a city center location. A washer and dryer unit was available and fully functional.. I found the bed solid and comfortable, complete with good linens. The black-out shades made sleeping easy despite the late sunset. I enjoyed continuous refills of milk in glass jars for my tea, a touch I found very nice.
I noticed the kitchen area could have benefited from a more thorough cleaning. A deodorizer would help manage residual food odors between guests.
Rooms
9/10
The apartment had ample counter space in the bathroom and included a clothes dryer rack. The shower had amazing water pressure. It made the mornings much easier to handle after a long journey.
Dining
10/10
The kitchen was set up with basic items such as tea, coffee, plates, cutlery, a kettle, and a French press. Restaurants and bars, from casual to higher-end, were within a short walking distance. The brasserie downstairs offered a pleasant setting with live music.
Facilities
9/10
The check-in process was straightforward. I appreciated the ease of arrival. I was able to leave my bags with the staff while I explored the city after checking out. This added convenience made a big difference to my travel plans.
Location
10/10
The hotel is very close to both train stations. Many shops, bars, and restaurants surround the location. It seemed like staying right in the city center.

the central location was acceptable.
The room i got was quite disappointing. It looked much larger in the pictures. also, i asked for an earlier check-in as i was traveling with a lot of bags and a baby in a pram but they didn't accommodate it (which was not nice).

The apartment was spacious. The bathroom was large. The bed was comfy. I slept well. The location was ideal FOR bars, restaurants, and shopping ETC.
I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. The aircon didn't work in the room. I was told there were issues on my floor. The dryer DOESN'T actually dry as it adds water. My clothes were still wet.
