the buffet breakfast was alright.

I found a maintenance problem with the window latches in my room. The screws were loose so i couldn't close them properly. also, the reception staff member colin, was rude and unhelpful when we inquired about a room upgrade. He lacked customer service skills.

My room was beautiful and large. The bathroom was great. A short ten-minute walk got me to the train station for easy trips to Glasgow and Loch Lomond! The staff impressed me with their friendliness.

I found that there was very little of interest near the hotel itself.

the room was lovely and super clean. the view over the river was fantastic. we were given a discount on our meal due to a hospital appointment, appreciated.

the sockets in the first room didn't work. we were relocated to another room. there was a previous guest's deposit still in the toilet bowl, yuck.
