the hotel is just off the ring road, allowing quick access. the location offers landscape views. i found the spot to be strategic, especially for travelers using the ring road. finding the diamond beach was easy.

the hotel is situated perfectly on the ring road. it is between skaftafell and vík. the rooms were spacious and very clean. each room features a balcony, a bonus for enjoying the fresh air.
the room decor looked quite worn. our room overlooked the car park. the staff couldn't assist when we raised our concerns.

decent location, room issues
small bedsbroken shower
the room was not great for the price i paid. the beds were small and felt worn. there were also some maintenance issues, like shower doors that didn't close properly. it was frustrating that the room was difficult to cool down even on a warm day.
