the breakfast was good, and there was lots of fresh local produce available.
The soundproofing between rooms 6 and 7 is definitely lacking. I could hear everything the family next door was doing, and it was really disruptive! also, the bathroom tiles were quite slippery. I actually fell coming out of the shower, even with a bath mat. they really need to get nonslip mats in there.

The breakfast was AMAZING!!! so much to choose from, all freshly cooked. i had a vegetarian breakfast. It was cooked to perfection. the room was super clean and had everything i needed for a perfect weekend.

This place is good. Location is perfect. It sits just off the main road. It is very quiet, unlike other b&bs. Bowness is a short walk to Windermere, so it is really the best of both worlds.
my only complaint, I wish I had stayed longer. the time went by too fast. That is all.

The room was clean. A definite plus. breakfast included smoked salmon and kippers, a good start to the day. the garden provided a lovely spot to relax outdoors. I enjoyed sitting there after breakfast.
the bathroom tiles seemed a bit slippy! even with the bath mat.
