sweet refuge
friendly staff breakfast options beer selection comfortable surroundings
the owners and staff felt very friendly to me. breakfast had a nice array of choices i did not expect. i liked the beers available at the bar.
i only noticed they did not serve drinks after 9 pm, it was a little early.

the village felt quiet and peaceful, very away from it all. the hotel provided easy access to the lake district areas i wanted to explore. it was simple to go discover all of the scenery and nature from there.

my bed felt comfortable, a soft place to rest my head. my room included everything i needed, i did not want for anything. the room was very clean, as it should always be.

the breakfast service was good, a good start to the day. i really liked the food at the pub, it had delicious flavours. the hotel catered for dogs, i saw many lovely dogs .

a lovely beautiful twin room
good breakfast happy staff spacious room water bottles
the breakfast here is good. i like a full cooked breakfast. staff are always happy to help. the beautiful twin room have lots of space and decor very well. water bottles is provided each morning, i like that. it were very cute to dogs, so i bring my dog into the dining room for breakfast.
service is slow, we were refused a drink at 9:15 pm after dinner. it were a slight disapppointment to us.

Really good Stay, Comfort and Warmth Combined
staff warmth convenient location good breakfast
the staff's warmth immediately stood out. They were very accommodating. The breakfast offered a good start to the day. The location proved convenient for exploring nearby attractions (very close to the Lake district).
The service refused to serve us a drink at 9:15 pm after we had dinner at the restaurant.
