a sweet escape

good breakfast varietycomfortable bedconvenient restaurantfriendly staff
The continental breakfast had good variety, and i especially loved the home cooked ham. It felt so comforting. our room was so quiet, and the bed was comfortable. We slept in later than usual. the restaurant being right there was so convenient for our evening meal. the staff were very friendly.
the water pressure in the shower was a little weak. it was a very minor issue.

The room included a Nespresso machine with four capsules. USB sockets were integral to the bedside light. A bottle of water was also provided in the room. The mattress firmness was very nice.
The hotel is near the main road. This means it may not suit someone looking for a very quiet night.

adequate stay with noticeable flaws

bathroom doorlimited buffet
The bathroom door in my 'double room private bathroom' wouldn't close properly. A definite privacy concern. also, there was no air-conditioning. it was quite warm. I had to keep the window open and was bothered by road noise. the breakfast buffet felt limited, with strange additions like beef sandwiches instead of more typical pastries. overall, the experience was mediocre

The breakfast buffet included good quality ingredients. It provided a perfect start. The bar was also inviting and had very friendly locals. I enjoyed a nut loaf Sunday roast with all the trimmings, it was delicious.
The passageway door was right next to my room. It banged constantly for several hours.

Reasonable experience overall

warm welcomecomfortable bedgood servicemain roadshabby bathroompoor wi-fi
I received a warm welcome from the team upon arrival. The bed was comfortable. I found the food and service very good.
The hotel is very near the main road so it was not a quiet night. The bathroom felt a bit SHABBY in places with an over shower bath. The wi-fi strength was poor in my room.
