the hotel offers complimentary refreshments and a water filter machine on each floor, very helpful. our room was equipped with plenty of towels and soap. the staff proved consistently excellent, showing consideration for all guests. breakfast included an excellent full english selection with gluten-free and vegan options.
i noticed certain areas could use fresh paint, but this slight wear actually added to the hotel's rustic charm.

The staff was very helpful! They quickly provided a twin room, after learning I was travelling with my sister and only a double was available. Breakfast was perfect, I loved the selection of cereals, jams, and yogurts.
The car park behind the hotel was easy to miss, I didn't see it at first.

The room was very clean. It had a comfortable bed. tea and coffee were provided, alongside delicious biscuits. the shower in the bathroom worked well.
the fan in the room made a slight noise.

the staff were pleasant and efficient so that was acceptable
i was quite disappointed with the communal areas they really need painting and decorating the carpet needs replacing i won't be staying again also my husband found a long hair on his breakfast plate it really put us off
