Historic Charm with Excellent Service

The shuttle service to the city center was a great convenience. The staff at the front desk provided professional and friendly service daily. Our room had an espresso machine, robes, and slippers, along with a view of the lake. The daily room service ensured our room was always perfectly maintained.
I noticed that some of the furniture was slightly dated.

decent stay, but some issues
empty minibarinconsistent water pressure
The minibar was empty upon arrival. Quite a disappointment after a long drive (i was really hoping for a cold drink). also, the in-room phone didn't work, so i had to walk to the reception for every request. the shower was quite small and the water pressure was inconsistent. these issues, while minor, did impact the overall experience negatively and i found myself a bit annoyed.

The building has beautiful touches like balconies and pillars. I enjoyed the beautiful carpet and the grand staircase. My room had a balcony with mountain views. The bathroom was large and included both a shower and a bathtub.
I found that some updating is needed. The rooms feel dated. A general refurbishment would improve the hotel experience.

The breakfast had a large selection of fresh products. Marco and Sylvia were knowledgeable about the area. I especially liked that I had a view of the lake from the breakfast room.

The hotel is located on top of the hill in a park with trees. The hotel also offered a private, free shuttle to the city. Lisa, at the on-site spa, used great products from Italy and was professional (she's the best!).

The room was spacious and clean, a beautiful double room! Andrea ensured our room had robes, slippers, and an espresso machine. I loved that it had a view of the lake.
