Fantastic Stay!

The location was very convenient and there were many restaurants in the area. Staff was helpful and the place was quiet. I found the historic charm to be great. I really liked the two biggest advantages, the friendly receptionists and the excellent location near the Parliament!
The extra blankets in my room looked unwashed! the way to my room from the main gate was a bit of a maze.

A shared fridge was in the hallway for guest use, very convenient. I noticed that there was also a shared fridge downstairs in the lobby, it was quite useful! They even loaned us a kettle for the room.

The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, very helpful! They gave excellent recommendations for places to visit around the city and provided all the necessary information. I found them polite.

The location is near many great things in the neighborhood. The English theater is a short walk. The hotel is also very convenient to the subway and tram lines. This made traveling around easy. It is a very central location.

The rooms are large and nicely lit. I had a private bathroom and all the amenities I could have wanted. This. The building's historic charm added a unique touch!

Really good service and clean rooms!

The location was GREAT. It put me within walking distance of MANY attractions. Daily housekeeping kept the linens very clean. It was a HUGE plus. I also found several restaurants right across the street and two markets at the end of the block. These markets made grabbing essentials SUPER easy.
The SHARED toilet was not advertised clearly. It was definitely an inconvenience, especially when needing to use it late at night or early in the morning.

The cafeteria opens at 8am and closes at 6:30pm. It has coffee, tea, and a bread toaster. Guests can use plates and cutlery sets. Also there is a jug of water and a coffee machine available there.

The receptionist was kind and helpful. I asked to change rooms. The staff managed to find a solution for two nights of my three-night stay. This level of accommodation was appreciated. A LOT.

the location proved convenient for accessing various attractions.
the absence of air conditioning was a significant issue during the heatwave i faced only a small fan provided minimal relief. the shared refrigerator on the corridor seemed inadequate for the number of rooms it served its cleanliness was questionable.

The staff was very helpful with directions. The location provided easy self service. The room was comfortable, and it worked fine for my stay.
My room was a bit dusty on arrival. The furniture felt old I think it needs an upgrade. The heater in the toilet did not work at all in my opinion.
