separate sinks rainfall shower good food
i stayed in a double room view. the room included two separate sinks. a rainfall shower was also available. the grounds have plenty to explore!!!

outdated and somewhat disappointing
constant noise little response
the golf buggy use proved acceptable. it allowed for convenient travel around the expansive grounds.
The room i booked, a twin room, suffered from an incessant noise. the source seemed to be loud, constant running water. It severely disrupted sleep. reporting this issue at checkout yielded little response from the staff, unfortunately.

beautiful grounds hotel location golf buggy unavailable table alternative restaurant children activity
the location had beautiful grounds. the hotel was close to the park and restaurants. a golf buggy was included, allowing easy movement around the site.
a table for dinner was unavailable in the garden restaurant. the alternative restaurant was not great. children were running around, and nappies were changed there.

poor service zero alcohol option
the complimentary golf buggy was acceptable for getting around the site.
the staff in the restaurants were disappointing. they seemed confused about zero alcohol options and gluten-free offerings. it was like the service didn't match the amount i paid.

convenient truck tour ample room space free entry advantageous location
I found the included truck tour quite convenient! the room had ample space for my needs. free entry to howletts wildlife park proved a lovely bonus. Location was quite advantageous for accessing nearby attractions.
i noticed the bar was not adequately stocked, slightly disappointing.

The breakfast staff provided excellent service! i noticed the breakfast service occurred directly at my table, a charming detail. the staff were very friendly. Helen stood out because she was quite helpful.

the room i occupied in the mansion house was meticulously clean, i appreciated the spaciousness and comfort. complimentary toiletries added a touch of luxury to the room. a nice selection of teas and coffee was available.

the hotel boasts beautiful gardens. i loved that golf buggies were available for guest use! they offered a great way to visit the animal park. historical buildings create a fabulous setting.

the hotel's setting is amazing, offering beautiful views across the downs. i could easily reach the coast. being able to walk around the park and see the animals was great, i appreciated learning about rewilding too.
