I appreciated the hotel's proximity to the train station it made travel simple. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast had a good range of foods available to start the day well.

i encountered issues . the lack of a luggage rack forced me to keep my suitcase on the floor. dirty bathroom glasses were also disappointing and detracted from the experience

Excellent hotel with great character

This hotel had character and all the right facilities. The location was great on Flinders Street. It was near the train station and the tennis courts. Carparking was available next door at a reduced rate.
The room cleanliness overall was just ok. It seemed like a quick job. The back of the entry door looked repulsive when the afternoon sun shone on it. The lack of service when we reported a faulty door card was unsatisfactory.

The Commerce Queen Room was nothing messy. It provides a comfortable space. robes and slippers, the room included lovely toiletries. This added to the overall comfort, the room had a view of the surroundings.
