perfect coordination staff service
the staff coordinated my arrival perfectly from the train station directly to the location. when i was leaving, they did the same from the hotel straight to the airport. (this was a huge relief).

mixed feelings about this hotel
dark alleyways mediocre evening meal
The location was not ideal for me. the alleyways leading to the hotel felt quite dark, and i felt a bit uneasy walking alone at night. the air conditioning in my room, a beautiful junior suite, wasn't working well on some evenings. breakfast was okay, but i found the evening meal mediocre. I expected more, given the price.

Idyllic Medina Stay
tasteful decor relaxing atmosphere authentic food central location
I adored the decor. It was so tasteful and created a relaxing atmosphere. Hakeem looked after me impeccably . The food tasted authentic and wonderful and the location was central. I found it surprisingly easy to get around once I knew where to look.
I did find the lighting in the bedroom too dim to read. Everything else was perfect. I wish I could have stayed longer.

There exists a rooftop. Fast Internet is available. The riad had excellent standards of cleanliness and rooms were freshened daily. It creates a quiet mood at night and has a comfortable dining and lounge space.

The rooms include air conditioning and utter delicious meals from the very talented chef. A wonderful shower room exists. It featured the comfiest bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. Daily freshened rooms exist.

The location is good near the Bahia Palace. I could easily walk to the souks. The alleyways leading to the Riad appear a bit dodgy looking in the night. The riad itself not sketchy at all.

charming oasis in the city
dietary preferences homemade breakfast really good meal
the staff helped plan tours. i appreciated the homemade breakfasts and dinners served. they accommodated my dietary preferences, a very nice touch. it was one of the best dining experiences during my trip. the meals were really good!
the lighting in my bedroom was quite dim. it made reading in the evenings a bit difficult. i would have appreciated brighter bedside lamps.

the riad has a rooftop terrace for relaxation with a shower to cool off. breakfasts are served each morning. there is also a plunge pool with limited space for lounging. meals and other amenities are offered at an extra cost.
