the staff was attentive, and i felt genuinely cared for. i found the setting quite beautiful. the food tasted great, a good treat each meal.

the lodge accommodated my family well. five ensuite bedrooms suited grandparents, parents, and grandchildren. robes and slippers added comfort for spa visits and hot tub use.

The hotel is perfect for families with young children. This created a very friendly atmosphere. The staff were very cute from check-in to departure, made for a great impression. I really liked the spacious, clean rooms. They are definitely ideal for family breaks. I found that the leisure facilities were a real highlight for the children!!!

The room felt a tiny bit tired and could use a small update. Otherwise, everything was spot on.

Dinner proved disappointing. Gluten-free options were severely limited. the waiter struggled to identify suitable dishes. a piece of pasta ended up in my supposedly gluten-free fish dish. It was a significant oversight.

A mixed experience

I found the temperature in the foyer area to be uncomfortably cold. The design includes a revolving entrance AND a sliding door entrance (near the bar). It also has a kids play area in an outside atrium. The outside temperature was quite low so the internal doors should have been closed. The staff needs SOME attention.
