The staff was friendly and helpful (which I always appreciate).
The room was quite dusty. I suspect the curtains hadn't been cleaned in ages. This was a problem because I have allergies, and I ended up needing to buy antihistamines. the bathroom fixtures looked rather dated and worn, and the shower pressure was weak.

The location was great, offering easy access to many attractions (though I was mostly interested in the pubs).
The room was not cleaned properly. I found some leftover food in the fridge. This made me wonder about the overall hygiene standards. The hallways also seemed to suffer from a lack of attention, with stained carpeting. It's almost impossible to keep clean.

Fantastic Stay with Castle Views!

The hotel location was amazing. It was right in the city center. My room featured a castle view (just like the pictures promised!). I woke up to the sight of the castle every morning. The staff were all polite and attentive. Fresh water was available near the rooms, so it was very handy, and the big TV was easy to use.

Breakfast had a wide array of choices. The selection catered to many tastes. The dining area offered fine views (especially when the sun hit the castle!). I found plenty to enjoy each morning.

The room was well-equipped with a safe, fridge, and ironing facilities, so it really suited my needs. Chairs were available. the shower had great pressure. I had ample space, and everything was clean.

Access to the Royal Mile and many restaurants was easy, it made exploring so simple. Museums and the Castle are all within a short walk (it saved me time and money!). The area felt safe and lively.

The staff were always smiling and ready to help (I really felt taken care of!). The check-in was quick and efficient. They answered all my questions. Any requests I made were handled promptly.
