the room included fresh milk for tea and coffee upon arrival. breakfast at the nearby royal george was a great start to the day as they used locally sourced ingredients.

cold roomthin duvets
the room felt quite cold, especially considering the time of year. i found a dead fly on the windowsill and the window was open when i arrived. after contacting the owner, she mentioned the heating was scheduled to come on later. it took a while for the small radiator to warm the room sufficiently. the thin duvets didn't help much either.

the room was freshly renovated and very clean. good quality linen and towels were provided, it was nice. fresh milk was in the fridge upon arrival, as well as tea and coffee.
the room was small. it was also very hot. accessing the room required climbing many stairs, and no lift was available.

The room provided coffee and tea facilities, including fresh milk in the fridge. I found an ironing board and iron very useful. The shower worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable and the room was nicely decorated, so I felt at home there.
I missed a shaver point and shelf in the bathroom, they would be helpful additions.

Breakfast required a short ten-minute walk to a nearby pub each morning. The food there featured locally sourced ingredients, expertly cooked, and it provided a great start to the day. The service was very friendly.

I had a lovely room for my two night stay. The bed and furnishings were very comfy. Accessing rooms was easy with no fuss. I would definitely stay here again.
Check out at 10:00am is early. This caused some inconvenience. I wish it were later.
