mixed experience, issues encountered
street noise loud noise
the hotel is conveniently located near chinatown. it provides easy access to local attractions.
The rooms were smaller than expected and not well soundproofed. street noise was a problem. I could hear cars and pedestrians late into the night. also, the air conditioning system emitted a loud noise, quite disruptive.

Excellent Boutique Hotel Experience
refilled minibar useful touch helpful staff easy access
I really liked that the minibar was complimentary. It was refilled daily with drinks and snacks. The hotel also provided a free shopping bag, it was a useful touch. The staff were helpful, they assisted with directions and recommendations. The location was perfect, it allowed for easy access to many attractions.
I thought the gym was quite small. Though adequate, it could benefit from additional equipment.

The room was very comfortable. And maintained a nothing noisy despite not having a window. A skylight provided natural light, the dark setting was conducive for good sleep. The complimentary bottle of wine was a bonus.

The hotel provided great access to the MRT station. Maxwell Food Centre was nearby, with dining options. The position near Chinatown added an authentic cultural experience to the stay.

charming stay!
excellent location helpful staff clean bathroom
i found the location really excellent!!! it is just opposite maxwell market. the staff was always very helpful. i even got upgraded to a better room due to a small issue with damp carpet after heavy rain. bathrooms are quite large and very clean.
i found that the subterranean rooms can be a bit noisy because of the nearby mrt. also, music from adjacent clubs was audible late at night. i recommend requesting a room above ground level facing the street.

The location is unbeatable. It is very central to the mrt and chinatown. the staff were helpful with recommendations and were very nice. i also appreciated the inclusion of a free minibar stocked daily with different beverages.
My room had no windows. It felt somewhat small, especially without natural light.

The hotel is very close to the maxwell mrt station. i appreciated being right next to the maxwell food centre. the hotel provided an iron and ironing board. This allowed me to keep my clothes wrinkle-free.

early check-in helpful staff great view minibar restock window absence small room dated hallway
i arrived early and the staff offered me a space to freshen up it was such a relief after my long flight. my room had a great view overlooking the temple. the minibar was restocked daily with water.
my initial room lacked windows and felt quite small. the hallways seemed a bit dated and could use some refreshing.
