The staff displayed a friendly attitude and gave me a first class experience. The manager and the staff were the best!!! They could not do enough for me. The superb gardens always had the resident peacocks around.
The dinner menu contained four burger options.

the Room was clean and well-appointed. I found fresh milk in the mini-fridge for my tea, a thoughtful touch. The public areas like the drawing room were tastefully decorated. STAFF members were friendly and helpful .
the evening Meal menu felt somewhat limited in options, especially given the hotel's caliber.

I ate at the bar and the food was EXCELLENT. breakfast also exceeded my expectations. The quality of the ingredients stood out, so i rate this experience as highly positive.

The staff were informal and accommodating. They showed genuine interest in. Patton and Sue were particularly helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area, providing useful tips.

The room was large AND very comfortable with tasteful decor. the bathroom features were particularly excellent, including a spacious shower. I also found the bed cozy.

Meals tasted very good. views were lovely. I saw western wensleydale. staff seemed helpful. One even took a photograph of us in the garden without us asking.
my room was too hot and i could not fully open the window. this was because of the peacock.

very nice viewfriendly staffeasy walk
the location is AMAZING! the views are very nice. i could easily walk from the hotel gardens down into hardraw to visit the green dragon pub and the hardraw force waterfall, though the path is steep. the staff were attentive and friendly.
the evening meal prices seemed quite high, so i chose to eat out.

the room offered a great view. fresh milk was provided for tea and coffee. there was a good range of quality teas and coffees available in my room. the room was very comfortable.

the hotel boasts fine views across wensleydale from the terrace! i loved the picturesque setting. the location is fantastic and there is plenty of onsite parking available arriving by car.

breakfast was great! there was a great choice. i recommend trying the sunday tasting menu, it is worth it. the hotel catered well for gluten and dairy-free requirements.

the drawing room and public areas are stylish and relaxing. the grounds are lovely, they feature plenty of seating for enjoying a drink outdoors. the hotel has beautiful gardens, some resident peacocks roam freely.

beautiful buildinglimited menu
the building itself was quite beautiful and the surroundings were generally pleasing.
the dinner menu seemed strangely limited, i drove a considerable distance and the menu had several burgers. i found this quite disappointing given the price of the rooms.
