Anna and richard welcomed me warmly. afternoon tea in the sitting room was lovely. The room felt both cosy and bright. the house seemed beautiful and well kept. i enjoyed the breakfast. Anna's homemade granola tasted delicious.

The tv was small. I found it hard to see. the wi-fi didn't work . the issues stemmed from a thunderstorm, i believe. i would have liked these amenities to work properly.

The bathroom situation was strange. the shower felt cramped. It was like showering in a cupboard. the toilet was similarly tiny. I felt a bit trapped in there. wi-fi didn't work either. Thunderstorms supposedly disabled it. the tv was really small. it all left me a little disappointed.

I enjoyed the breakfast service. The staff was attentive. the freshly baked bread was a highlight. the grounds were beautiful. THERE were many quiet spots to relax.

the bathroom sink was quite small. I found it a bit inconvenient. the water pressure in the shower was surprisingly low. this made showering a little less refreshing. the wi-fi signal was unstable AT times.

the farmhouse has been modernised. rooms were spotlessly clean and practically furnished. breakfast left nothing to be desired and was all made with fresh products. the location is advantageous for visiting the castle gardens.

One bathroom was disappointing. it was described as a 'luxury ensuite bathroom' but was like a shower in a cupboard. the tv was flat screen but small. The wi-fi did not work for the whole weekend too.

breakfast was acceptable i guess, though i've seen better spreads at continental breakfasts in chain hotels.

The room was tiny, i mean, seriously tiny. i booked a beautiful double room, but it felt more like a glorified closet. the bathroom was equally cramped. Turning around in the shower was a challenge. i was expecting a bit more for the price i paid!
