the staff were helpful. the hotel provides free on street parking. the location near the railway station was convenient. i found it was only a short walk.
the barman indicated there was no restaurant space. subsequently two groups arrived without bookings. tables were then prepared for them.

Pam checked me in and was helpful. She was also friendly. the staff welcomed me warmly and looked after me. the staff is attentive and well presented. i rate it well.

the room i received was not satisfactory. the shower head was old and dirty. the noise isolation was poor i could hear water running from other rooms and sounds from adjacent rooms.

the annex where my room was located did not look great from the outside. the decor and furniture looked like they needed an update too

the breakfast was enjoyable. i found parking easily, it was very accessible. the room was spacious. also, i found the bathroom excellent, it included a huge heated towel rail.
the corridors' carpets looked old and not clean.
