excellent stay with amazing food

weekend away bistro meal friendly staff log burner
I found shutting off from daily stress easy during my weekend. the bistro meal was amazing!!! the chef even chatted with us. the oak pub is nearby. It has a log burner and friendly staff. i felt very welcome there.
i cancelled the continental breakfast right away and requested a refund, but i still have not gotten it.

superb stay, I recommend it!

art deco room bottled water tasty food
i found the art deco room fabulous and super clean. milk and bottled water was available from a fridge in the hall.
the beams and ceilings are low, so it's sometimes difficult to negotiate. also, i saw a stain on the carpet.

The village shop was close. Pubs were easy to reach. I noticed the personal fridge. It had fresh milk and bottled water and was filled often. Breakfast was really good. I thought it was all fresh.
The bed felt a little low for my back. It wasn't a big problem though.

charming stay!

fantastic decor clean space tasty produce thoughtful approach
The rooms are wonderfully decorated. The decor is indeed fantastic! the bathroom was fabulous, and i particularly appreciated the clean space. breakfast was lovely, with tasty produce. they also offer a thoughtful approach to take away any leftovers for lunch, which i found very convenient.
the beds were slightly low for my bad back, but otherwise, everything was perfect.

the village setting was peaceful and the church courtyard was adjacent, which i found acceptable.
the art deco room had low beams. the breakfast was continental, i was expecting a hot breakfast option. the self check in felt impersonal and cold, there was no staff contact at all

quiet space top quality dining low bed separate bistro
the rococo room was perfect the space was charming and quiet. the bistro provided top quality dining the owners are lovely it was a very pleasant experience.
the beds were a bit low for bad backs. i also noticed the bistro is separate from the room rentals above.

impersonal check in small room
The self check in felt impersonal. I missed having face to face interaction. my room, the indian room, was uncomfortably small, a problem the strong red decor only amplified. the bed was also too short for me. This impacted my sleep quality.
