the parking was free. a beer garden was available, so that was great.
the receptionist did not seem very friendly. the welcome book seemed strict.

decent stay with some drawbacks
great location free parking traditional decor traffic noise hard pillow buffet improvement
the location was great with direct access to the market square. free parking was available for our rental car. the facilities had a traditional english feel and decor.
my room was in the coach house so it was noisy due to traffic. the bed was comfortable however rock hard pillows were very uncomfortable. a self-service buffet for non-cooked breakfast items would have been better.

Really good Stay!
ample parking friendly staff maintained grounds cozy touch
I found ample parking available. Staff were EXTREMELY friendly. The grounds were well-kept. I enjoyed a drink in the beautiful garden. Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. The open fire added a cozy touch.
The room needed a little updating. Simple things like readily available water would have enhanced the experience.

The staff provided a VERY cute experience, and their helpfulness significantly contributed to the overall positive atmosphere. Their attention to detail ensured all guests felt valued and cared for throughout their stay. AMAZING!

My room featured very comfortable furnishings and super clean cleanliness. It offered all necessary facilities. The room's layout maximized space, improving comfort. Hot water was readily available.

large portions beautiful gardens
the hotel food impressed me with large portions during both breakfast and dinner!
The barman wasn't really communicative. He didn't offer a glass with my bottled water, which i found a little odd.

excellent stay
well maintained grounds classic period feel helpful staff ample parking
the grounds were very well maintained i noticed the gardeners working diligently each morning the hotel had a classic period feel with a log fire in the lounge it was very inviting. i found the staff particularly helpful they promptly addressed any requests. the hotel's location was central making it easy to explore the area. i appreciated the ample parking available on site it removed any stress related to finding a space.
the room was a bit far from reception it required walking a bit more than expected

the reception staff was consistently responsive to requests i had i noticed they were quick to offer help with directions i was also impressed by the promptness of room service requests being fulfilled

breakfast included a selection of pastries fresh fruit and hot dishes i chose the full english breakfast it was hearty. the restaurant offered a diverse menu with both traditional and modern dishes it also had an extensive wine list.

the hotel included a well kept garden area with seating to relax the garden also offered lovely views of the surrounding area. there was complimentary wifi available throughout the hotel it worked well.

Breakfast included a NICE selection of options.
The room was NOT in the main building. A large brown stain disfigured the shower corner. I cleaned it myself.
