a lovely gem in the country

The staff was friendly. i particularly enjoyed the outdoor cafe space. I found it very relaxing! the coffee was lovely and served by a friendly person in the shop. the location was great for walks, and the surrounding scenery was fine.
the bathroom was very small. it felt slightly bigger than the width of the wc.

I dined in the bar near a roaring log fire. the food was delicious. I had the sausage with mash and onion gravy. a lovely outdoor cafe space is available, serving great coffee!

the location is quiet and the inn has quirky furnishings. i noticed over fifty mice carved into the bar and stools. a fabulous farm shop is also on site. the food was excellent, and the portions were large.
upon arrival, i was informed a delivery of a shower head was pending. i didn't settle in and unpack until it arrived. the room was very warm upon arrival.

the staff was very dog friendly, and they were wonderful. they were cute. i found a lovely outdoor cafe space, and great coffee was served by a friendly person in the shop.

Nicely decorated rooms made for a cozy atmosphere. I loved the inn's quirkiness. the beautiful location offered some lovely walks. the farm shop on site is wonderful too.

i really enjoyed the food quality, with good presentation. the staff was friendly and cute, that was nice. the extra large bed in my room was also very comfortable. it was clean too.
i did hear some loud boiler noises, it kept going on and off all day. i think it come from a electric shower or maybe the kettle from another room. i am not sure what it was.
