a good stay
friendly staff delicious food comfortable mattress
the staff were friendly i found. the food was delicious especially dinner. i bought a hypnos mattress after trying it at the inn. the location is also a notable asset offering beautiful views.
the bathroom felt a little outdated i noticed. the shower over the bath was not my preference. it made managing water a bit challenging.

gluten-free options quiet setting spacious garden
The restaurant provided gluten-free options marked clearly on the menu that was very helpful for me. the setting was quiet and pretty i could take rest well. i appreciated the garden. It had space to sit.

tasty food local pub comfortable bed
the food was tasty and fresh.. we tried several different dishes and loved each one. the location is perfect for walks and is very close to a popular local pub. my room was clean, very tidy, and included a comfortable bed.
i found the signage directing to the inn difficult to see at night.

lovely stay in a charming inn
delicious breakfast calm atmosphere cheerful staff
i enjoyed the food. the breakfast was promptly served and quite delicious. i found the atmosphere calm and restful. the staff were helpful and cheerful to me.
the phone service was not ideal i felt. i was told i could have a zedbed brought in but this was later refused. it forced me to source emergency accommodation at great inconvenience.

the inn offers beautiful rooms, some with wet rooms or baths. the beds were very comfy, and the rooms included a hostess tray and coffee machine. there is an excellent range of beer on draught, spirits, and a good wine list.

This inn is in a beautiful village. The surrounding area is great for walking. it is also near clarksons pub, a short drive or a thirty minute walk away. the inn has a beautiful garden to enjoy.

delicious food friendly staff broken blinds missing inquiry
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast choices were AMAZING!!! Plenty of variety was available. The room was clean and tidy. The bed gave me the best night's sleep I've had in years.
My room was in the stables and called 'The Forge', not 'The King Room'. The blinds were BROKEN on both windows to the front and back. No one asked if my room was comfortable or if I enjoyed my stay.

Good Stay and Excellent Food
excellent food perfect accommodation comfortable bed quiet location
The food was excellent as recommended. The accommodation was perfect and very comfortable. The bed was hard and helpful for my back which I especially appreciated. I felt totally away from the Bank Holiday crush.
I thought the wine list could have had a few more bottles priced below £30.

The pub has an excellent range of beer on draught and spirits. I noted a good wine list and excellent food. Generous portions were beautifully presented and all staff provided very polite and helpful service.
