nice stay with great service

I found the breakfast buffet excellent. It had varieties. the setting was calm and the beach views made it great. our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was kind. i found the live music at sontaya restaurant stood out.

The staff was cute and anticipated needs. the butler was friendly and professional. He assisted when asked. i really liked that a gentleman at the front desk showed genuine interest in conversations. he was always ready to help.

Acceptable Stay with a Cold Pool

The beach was fine (a real centerpiece).

The pools were cold for most of my stay. The windy weather was the reason, but I found it a disappointment since I expected a warm pool in the UAE, especially considering the prices.

outside seating area breakfast variety slow response carpet smell

the breakfast buffet had a lovely outside seating area and amazing variety. the bar had knowledgeable tenders and a great atmosphere.

the front desk response times to guest requests felt slow to me. the rooms seemed tired and i could smell carpet when i arrived. i expect more when i pay this much.
