country style comfy bed
the building had a lovely country style, it featured comfortable furnishings. my room was large and the bed very comfy. a great view overlooking the surrounding area was visible from the window.
the room could have used a little more attention to detail in cleaning. i had to clean the kettle myself before i used it.

the reception provided a lovely welcome, it created a positive first impression. breakfast was very tasty and made to order, the service was notably great. the hotel is only a short walk to the main town.

i enjoyed the effort made for my special dietary requirements, this showed great attention to detail. my husband particularly enjoyed his full scottish breakfast, it was cooked to perfection. pre-ordering breakfast is necessary for all guests.

the staff made a huge difference. the service was really good and the environment felt very friendly. the cleaning team was very thoughtful.. rooms were super clean.
i expected more from my visit. i felt the overall experience was rather dull. there was nothing specific to complain about, but the experience felt lacking. the room was quite small.

an acceptable stay
helpful staff good checkout small bathroom excessive noise
the staff were helpful. the checkout time was generous, so i didnt feel rushed. it was a good thing because i did not have to pay for taxis because the town was a walking distance from me.
i was disappointed with the value for money. the bathroom was super small it had a shower with a curtain, not a screen. also, the noise from the trucks on the nearby road was excessive.
