Acceptable stay, some drawbacks
poor staff attitude no dinner
The room provided a view that met expectations. It was nice enough.
The attitude of some staff members requires improvement. They seemed uninterested in assisting guests. My request for birthday arrangements received no help, nor advice. I found this quite disappointing (it really put a damper on things). The absence of a dinner service was also inconvenient.

wonderful stay
furnished room excellent location breakfast specials
i have stayed here before and again, i was greeted warmly upon arrival i found the room well-furnished and very clean. the location is excellent for beach access and local attractions i liked the sea view from the balcony. the food was superb with breakfast specials and vegetarian options.
the floorboards above creaked a bit, but this is expected in a manor house.

the hotel is close to the beaches and provides easy access to other areas in cornwall the position is a great setup to accompany the normal hotel complex. views were lovely.

breakfast offered a wide selection with specials it was also tasty and well-prepared. i particularly appreciated the alternative milks and vegetarian options were available at breakfast. room service was excellent.

The breakfast was very good. I had plenty to choose from each morning! The staff were very polite. Mark, who served breakfast and worked reception, was especially friendly. The location is superb.
The room felt a bit small. The main hotel areas seem recently decorated, but the bedrooms could use updates. The complimentary shampoos were not replenished. I found dusty areas.

A pleasant stay
professional staff friendly staff attentive staff dusty room damaged blind cleaning service
The reception staff were very professional. They were also friendly upon check-in and check-out. The bar staff were attentive. The breakfast staff were friendly as well. All staff were a credit to the hotel.
The rooms are somewhat basic. I found thick dust and damaged blinds in my room. Room 24 had no wifi connectivity. The cleaning service was poor. I found the complimentary shampoos and shower gel were not replenished .

The room was spacious and stylish. The bathroom also was good. Breakfast had beautiful views and was lovely to start the day. The staff were friendly and helpful at reception and in the restaurant.
