the staff was very friendly and helpful ! the breakfast was superb, and the food in the pub offered plenty of choice. my room was perfect for my needs. free onsite parking was available.
the stair carpet showed some wear. that was the only thing that wasn't perfect.

The room offered ample space for luggage.
The lack of communication regarding the heating system was frustrating. I returned to a freezing room after dinner and found no instructions, and the pub was closed for the night so I had no one to ask for help.. The customer service seemed lacking in that situation.

The breakfast was really good. I found a wide variety of cereal, yoghurt, toast, and preserves. The cooked Welsh breakfast included many choices. The evening meal had a really good selection with tasty food and large portions.
The service at the pub was slow, despite the place not being crowded.

The stair carpet to the rooms was filthy, and the room felt small. the bed linen did not feel clean. It was gray. i didn't like the general approach to the rooms, it was not easy on the eye (i was hoping for something better).

Check-in was efficient! the bed was good and the room provided everything i needed. both the bar area and the outdoor space were enjoyable. i liked the good food in the evening and at breakfast. It was definitely a plus.
the toilet seat in my room was a little loose, and the wardrobe handle came off in my hand.
