convenient stay near leeds

great value convenient parking short drive
i found great value for the modest room rate. the room's large size and adequate heating. i appreciated the good and convenient parking available. plus, accessing leeds city centre was a short drive from the hotel.
I found the room decor a bit dated. It could benefit from a refresh. the ground floor window did not lock completely shut. lads were loitering around the car park late at night, looking into cars. breakfast was unfortunately not available.
Location
9/10
the hotel offers easy access from the motorway, a helpful feature for travellers. it is near the east side of leeds, a convenience for exploring that area. i found the parking area good and ample.
Rooms
8/10
the room included clean bedding, and i noticed a mini fridge for personal use. rooms have windows overlooking the car park and entrance. the rooms are on the first floor, easily accessible via disabled access.
Dining
8/10
there is no food service available at the hotel, though that was okay. the hotel provides a list of takeaways and restaurants . arrangements are available to eat on-site with these options.
Facilities
9/10
The communal living room, dining room, and bar seemed comfortable. the staff provided a qr code for accessing their whatsapp for any needs. reception closes at 8 pm. Arrangements exist for late arrivals.

comfortable room near local amenities

big room warm shower accommodating staff comfy bed
the room was really big, and i appreciated that the shower was warm. the hotel staff were very accommodating with questions i had before arrival. the bed was super comfy. i found the hotel responsive when i had questions.
the entrance to the car park was not very visible so i missed it the first time.
Location
9/10
the hotel's location was handy. bus stops into both leeds and the city center were very close. the hotel is near shops for anything extra i needed. the area is ideal for restaurants too.
Dining
8/10
though the hotel lacks an in-house restaurant, i noted there is a dedicated lounge area available. guests can sit and eat in this area. it seemed suited for enjoying takeaway meals when you don't feel like going out.
Facilities
10/10
the car park was a good size. check in was easy and quick when i arrived. the provision of plenty of power points in the room was very useful. i was pleased with the clear instructions provided.
