mixed feelings about my stay

small bathroomconstant sounds
the room i booked seemed different from the pictures online. the bathroom was small, it lacked counter space. also the noise from the street was noticeable, even late at night. i found it hard to relax fully because of the constant sounds.

i found the staff very helpful and cute. teresa at reception kindly upgraded our room. we were looked after very well at the hotel.
i noticed that my bathroom sink was not cleaned after the first night.

the staff was kind and helpful. i especially appreciated how quickly they addressed every request i had. the blackout curtains worked wonderfully i slept soundly each night. the restaurant downstairs offered a delicious variety of choices and i never went hungry.
the building work was a bit distracting and it would have been nice to have been informed ahead of time.

lovely stay with minor issue

the staff are very nice. i loved watching the trawlers and everything. food are great and i really enjoyed. the room to the front of the building and the balcony gave us a view.
mattresses are stained and duvet are just fit for the bin, a little disappointing.

the staff were helpful and friendly. fiona in the restaurant was especially great and helpful. i had a room to the front of the building. the balcony gave me a good view.
the hotel menu had limited choices. this was because of the new kitchen. i asked for three common beers but they did not have them.
