I found the breakfasts marvellous. There was plenty of it and it was good quality. The hotel's location was nice and quiet (a detail i appreciate). There was also plenty of parking.
The curtains in my room wouldn't close as the hooks were broken. The hot tap to the sink leaked everywhere. The plug for the sink was old and loose, so as soon as i filled it up, it emptied (not practical at all).

The building and gardens were clean. The location is a short walk to the Cinder Trail. I found lovely gardens perfect for strolling. The staff were cute and helpful (always smiling!).
The bed was too small. I expected more in the room. It lacked a TV and the bed was not large enough, although it was manageable. The 'bar' was a corner in the breakfast room.

The hotel featured plentiful porridge and coffee. This suited me well. it served as a good base for coastal hikes. staff members were friendly. They were helpful .
the breakfast service started quite late for walkers.
