overcooked bacon amended breakfast
the bacon served at breakfast was overcooked to a crisp. the sausage also lacked proper flavor. receiving a breakfast different from my original order was a significant oversight. the breakfast was amended, but it was still frustrating.

the staff was very friendly AND helpful. the room was nice and neat. the food tasted delicious
the air-conditioning did not work well, the LOWEST was 17 degrees which is not cool enough. the double bed was a tiny size. some guests need to improve their hygiene, REALLY.

friendly staff clean room great pies
i found the staff super friendly. they helped me with my bags. the room was clean and spacious. i enjoyed the food in the bar, and they have great pies. i will be back for another visit.
the air conditioning unit was not very effective. the lowest setting was only 17 degrees. it felt warm.

the location is handy for visiting nearby towns. i could easily drive to Filey, Scarborough, and Bridlington. the hotel is set in quiet countryside, it makes for a relaxing stay.

the hotel included a big car park which was helpful. i used the gardens and patio for a relaxing drink. breakfast had many choices of cereals, yoghurts, and fruit, it was a good start to the day.

The room was quite spacious and opened onto a private patio. The receptionist was helpful. I noticed the premises were spotlessly clean (this is always important to me).
The air-conditioning did not work well. The lowest setting was 17 degrees. A double bed seemed quite small. I thought it needed more room for two adults.
